Our Stadthotel disposes of a welcoming spa which, measuring about 90 square metres, offers enough space for you to feel good: relax at pleasant temperatures in the low-temperature herbal sauna (70°C) or work up a sweat in our Finnish sauna (90°C). On top of that, you will find rain showers, a chill-out area with lounging beds, a conservatory and a vitamins bar with delicious, healthy treats.
We serve a rich, intercontinental breakfast buffet and offer free transfer to our Ristorante Rossini in the evening, where you will be spoiled with Mediterranean delicacies. For guests who prefer to eat just a bite on our cosy terrace or in our lobby, we have a menu ready as well.
To start their day right, some people just need a croissant and a strong espresso, while others prefer tea, fruit, cereals, eggs, bacon and jam. Whatever your needs are - we serve a fresh, rich and varied breakfast buffet every day which is sure to give you a great deal of culinary pleasure.
Enjoy a delicious dinner in a Mediterranean atmosphere: our shuttle will take you to Ristorante Rossini in just a few minutes, where you are served refined, homemade Italian specialities. Our team cooks mouth-watering antipasti, homemade pasta, stone-baked pizza, exquisite fish like Branzino and varieties of grilled meat. We serve top wines from wineries in Northern Italy, which are personally selected by us.
GO EXPLORINGOur Stadthotel is the ideal starting point to explore and experience the beautiful landscape and the cultural and culinary diversity of the Obermaintal (Upper Main valley). You can take a hiking tour to the Staffelberg, visit Basilica Vierzehnheiligen or experience Franconian culinary traditions - you can reach a variety of sights and excursion destinations the Upper Main - Jura region has in store for you in a short time, all year round. We are happy to arrange sightseeing tours, book canoes or organize one of our popular rafting trips for you. You can also rent e-bikes for a fee at our hotel. Besides the beautiful Gottesgarten there is a lot more to experience and explore in the Obermaintal. |

Our Stadthotel is situated in the heart of Lichtenfels, the “German basket city” at Bamberger Straße, one of the thoroughfares of Lichtenfels. The train station and city centre are less than a five-minutes walk away. From here, you can explore the old town of Lichtenfels, which has retained its typical Franconian character to this day and which, with its various historic buildings, is certainly worth an extended stroll.
In addition to that, the tourism region around the Upper Main and Jura offers various excursion destinations and sights all year round. Alternatively, you can book a tour on our raft, explore the Main river and let yourself be pampered with Franconian specialities from our restaurant Bräuwirt.
